How do I tell if my printhead is bad? 
Generally speaking, vertical “white” lines through your label indicate burned elements on your printhead.

Sometimes I have a hard time removing the ribbon from my take up spindle on my Zebra printer, is there an easier way? 
On the Zebra XI performance series, there is a ribbon retrofit kit available that makes taking the ribbon off as easy as turning a knob.

How often should I clean my printer? 
General cleaning should happen at least once a day, or every time you change a ribbon roll. In addition we recommend general maintenance by a certified LABELTRONIX technician every 3-6 months depending on use.

How do I improve my print quality? 
Print quality is affected in 3 ways: darkness/heat settings, speed, and pressure. By simple adjustment of these 3 settings many print quality issues can be resolved. If print quality problems still persist, contact a certified LABELTRONIX technician for on site assistance.

What information do I need to schedule On Site or In House service? 
The printer make and model, the serial number and general description of the problem, the software that you use, and the contact person at your facilities is helpful.

Who do I call for technical support on my printer problems? 
We have Technical phone support available at 1.800. 429.4321 for all our customers with Service Agreements. In addition, our technical support can assist in evaluating your problem to determine if a simple resolution can be found over the phone, or if an on-site service call is required.

How do I clean labels off my platen roller? 
Avoid any sharp metal objects when attempting to remove labels, use Isopropyl alcohol and non-metal objects to gently remove and guide the label off the roller.

What type of label software should I buy? 
LABELTRONIX sells and supports LabelView, EasyLabel, Bartender and BarOne software. The LABELTRONIX Service Group is available to assist you in determining which label software package will work best for your application.

The LABELTRONIX Service Group offers on-site and in house training programs for both operators and maintenance people. Our training programs cover the basics for any operator as well as comprehensive maintenance training for the most technical applications.
